SOLEMN MASSES

June the 8th – Melbourne – beautiful sunny whether – waiting for the Mass in the beautiful St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Poster in the cathedral reminding about 10th anniversary of canonization of St. Jadwiga Queen.

Invitations and information about the Mass in St. Patrick’s cathedral on the occasion of 10^th anniversary of canonization of St. Jadwiga Queen was sent to the members of Diplomatic Corpus in Melbourne. Mass was attended by many staff from the Victorian Government. From the very interesting sermon (in English), which was referring to St. Jadwiga Queen, it was possible to become familiar with many facts and achievements of St. Queen. It was very touching moment for Polish people present at the Mass, who could not only listen about St. Jadwiga Queen but also pray to St. Jadwiga in the Melbourne Cathedral.

After the Mass, many people continue to pray to St. Jadwiga Queen in the side chapel where the Holy Sacrament was displayed.
