The pictures are composed
based on the rules of the selected generic class. Rules are discovered
based on the investigation of the visual structure of the picture. Rules
discovered during theoretical and empirical investigations are applied
during the picture composition.
These works of art are
parts of the exposition of the QJF Art&Science
Gallery. All these works of art are result of the aesthetic investigations
of prof. Z. Les in the years 1983-1990. The project “Image Understanding and
Aesthetic Evaluation” has been continuation of his research and led to
establishing the theoretical bases for the program of the QJF Art&
Science Gallery. All these works of art are donated to the Queen
Jadwiga Foundation by prof. Z. Les.
